Public chargers

Public charging points can be found in a variety of places, from service stations and public car parks to supermarket, hotel and attraction car parks. They charge your vehicle with DC power, meaning a rapid replenishment of the battery. Some can be used via a smartphone app, while others require a specific network card or fob. Simply find a compatible charger, connect your car using the cable and authenticate with your chosen payment method.

From home

Electric vehicles can be charged at home using either a three-pin plug or a dedicated home wallbox. Both connect to your property’s electricity supply and deliver AC power. A wallbox charges your vehicle much faster than a regular plug socket.

From work

Some workplaces provide EV chargers for their employees to use. Workplaces often use either 7.4 kW or 22 kW AC wallboxes, delivering adequate battery replenishment in a matter of hours. You will need to check with your employer if any payment is required for the charger’s use.
