Ansty, Coventry, March 26 2026: London EV Company (LEVC) has today announced changes to its UK management structure to support the company’s future strategy. As part of this change, Alex Nan is continuing his role as Chairman and has appointed Geely International Executive, Tony Chi, to succeed him as acting CEO. Tony will be supported in his role by former LEVC Manufacturing Director, Lee Boyce, who is stepping into the newly created General Manager role.
Since becoming CEO in 2021, Alex Nan has led LEVC through a period of strategic transformation, strengthening its position in the commercial e-mobility sector. Now, Alex Nan will continue his role as Chairman of LEVC, as he takes on a broader scope of activity within the Geely International business. This move will enable closer collaboration across regions, while ensuring continued support for LEVC as an important part of Geely’s global portfolio.
Tony Chi will assume the role of acting LEVC CEO, succeeding Alex Nan in this position. Tony brings over 20 years of leadership experience within the Geely Group, with a strong track record in overseas operations. He will play a key role in coordinating Geely Group resources to further support the development of LEVC in the UK.
Chris Allen, LEVC Managing Director, will step down from his role as part of the changes. LEVC would like to directly thank Chris for his contributions over the last 6 years.
Chris Allen, Managing Director, LEVC said: “Leading this business has been a deeply rewarding experience for me personally. Together with a fantastic team, we have worked hard to build a strong and stable foundation, deliver against our targets and prepare the company for the next phase of growth. Tony brings a wealth of experience and I have no doubt he and the team will take the business forward with renewed focus and clarity as it prepares for the next steps.”
In order to support the evolving needs of the business, Lee Boyce will directly support Tony Chi in a new role as General Manager. Lee brings over 30 years of OEM expertise and has previously worked as Manufacturing Director at LEVC for over 10 years.
Alex Nan, Chairman, LEVC said:“This leadership transition positions LEVC strongly, combining experienced strategic oversight with greater coordination of Geely Group resources to further support the development of LEVC in the UK. I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Chris Allen, his leadership has been instrumental in navigating challenging periods for the business. I look forward to working closely with Tony and Lee in their new roles to drive LEVC forward in the UK and beyond.”
