01 October 2024 – LEVC is proud to announce it is providing a TX Access for Edinburgh Castle to further improve accessibility for visitors at the historic site.

Edinburgh Castle’s location atop Castle Rock presents a challenge for visitors with limited mobility, due to its steep incline and cobbled pathways. The LEVC TX Access, offers a comfortable and inclusive transportation option for visitors to easily ascend and descend the hill.

Designed to provide unparalleled accessibility, the TX Access is fully wheelchair accessible, featuring a direct access ramp that neatly folds away into the floorspace, allowing for swift deployment and adjustability. It features a large door aperture for easy entry and exit, spacious interior for wheelchair manoeuvrability, and a restraint system to secure wheelchairs in place.
